The other day I exposed a friend to this blog. After he browsed thru it he came back and asked me why I use so many quotes.
I explained him that those people were smarter than me. Why should I expose myself as a fool when I can fill all this space with the words of smart people and in doing so look smart myself.
After all, why should I sound like a politician when I can steal the words of Socrates? I'm a fool. The odds are so are you. The difference is I know it. I think I would rather talk to a person that quotes Confucius all the time than have to listen to his inane blather.
Being with a well educated parrot is superior to listening to the meanderings of a fool. Oh yeah, I'm a fool.
